Welcome
to the FAQ's!
Here are some frequently asked questions about the club and its benefits.
What are the meetings all about and what is the
format for the meetings?
At our meetings, you will find an informal gathering of
warm and friendly people. The commonality of purpose and sameness of problems
that we each confront in our hobby creates an open environment where we
help each other resolve issues and learn from each other. The meetings
generally involve a presentation by one of the club members on a specific
topic followed by a question and answer session. Then we open up the discussion
for general Q & A before we adjourn. After the general meeting we
visit a different member's home each month to see spectacular tanks and
equipment first hand.
When and where does the club meet?
Where: Fudruckers at the Boise Spectrum 1666 S
Entertainment Ave, Boise - (208) 246-8639 .
When: The regular club meetings are held on the 1st Friday
following the 1st Thursday of every month at 7PM.

What
are some benefits to the club?
IMAS offers many benefits including a way to make our hobby
more affordable. Yearly dues are $24.00 ($2 per month) about the cost of one coral frag.
This allows you to purchase any of the frags donated to the club for a
minimal cost that also goes right back into the club. Finally the knowledge
you will gain from being a member through our own club members experience
and through expert guest speakers makes it well worth the small investment.
Some of the membership dues are used to bring in nationally known experts.
The club also publishes a newsletter.
Membership is not required for participation in most of our events but if
you see value in the club, please pay your yearly dues.
How do I become a member?
Simply bring your checkbook or cash to a club meeting and
you will become a member. You also will be able to pay online through
PayPal.
