Fishes: Yellow tang, powder blue tang, square back anthias, percula clown, copper banded butterfly Stony Corals: montipora digita, montipora capricornus, acropora and milipora. Soft Corals: zooanthids, grey finger leather, colt, finger leather Other Livestock: a few clams, a cucumber, a boxing shrimp, long spined urchin, hermit crabs, and a few snails. Filtration: Euro-Reef 8-1 provides the protein skimming. The live rock is mostly man made. The DSB is a fine sand blasting sand that is slowly being removed. Lighting: 2 - 250 watt 20,000k, 1 - 400 watt 20,000k, 2 - 6ft URI VHO Super Actinic tubes Water: Make-up water is an auto top-off from an RO/DI unit located under the house. Water changes only performed when something looks wrong. Additives: Iodine, Iron both from Kent. Baking Soda to maintain alkalinity and Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium to maintain calcium. Feeding: Brine shrimp and nori for the fish, Golden Pearls and stirring up the diatrus in the sump for the corals. |
